Overview

The AKAM mobile aircraft landing gear maintenance access platform is intended to be positioned around an aircraft landing gear assembly so technicians can access struts, fittings, hoses, hydraulic lines, and upper landing-gear components without relying on temporary ladders. In the supplied image, the unit features a mobile metal chassis, multi-step stairs, a relatively wide work platform, perimeter guardrails, and handrails on both sides. A central opening or cut-out is visible in the upper platform, allowing the work deck to approach the landing gear closely and accommodate part of the landing-gear assembly within the working envelope. The stair treads and main work deck have visible anti-slip surfaces. Several industrial swivel castors and adjustable stabilizing supports are also visible at the base, allowing the platform to be moved and then stabilized for maintenance operations. The unit is intended for specialized access around the wheel assembly, shock strut, service lines, and landing-gear connections. Cut-out dimensions, platform capacity, stabilizer adjustment range, and aircraft-model compatibility must be confirmed from AKAM TECHNIC's final engineering design.
