Overview
The AKAM industrial ergonomic handling arm / column-mounted jib crane is intended to support material-handling operations in production lines, assembly stations, workshops, and industrial environments. In the supplied image, the unit features a fixed main column with a floor-bolted flanged base, a primary horizontal arm, a secondary articulated arm, a movable vertical assembly, and a load-handling head at the end of the arm. The end-effector includes manual guidance handles and several visible suction / vacuum pads. A coiled hose and service lines are also routed along the arm, providing service or control connections for the load-handling assembly. This configuration allows the operator to engage a load, raise it, move it within the arm's working envelope, and position it with reduced physical effort. The primary objective of this type of system is to reduce operator strain, improve load control, and enhance ergonomics during repetitive handling tasks. However, rated load capacity, working radius, rotation range, vertical stroke, exact vacuum or gripper system, required pressure/vacuum, and installation requirements must be confirmed only from AKAM TECHNIC's final engineering design and datasheet.
Application
• Lifting and handling industrial components • Precise positioning of parts at workstations • Reducing manual effort and operator physical strain • Handling components in production and assembly lines • Use with suitable vacuum or gripper end-effectors • Controlled transfer of components between workstations • Use in workshops, production lines, and industrial environments
