Bench-Mounted Manual Lever Press

The bench-mounted manual lever press is a mechanical tool for applying controlled pressing force during assembly, insertion, pressing, adjustment, or removal of small to medium-sized components. Its long hand lever converts operator input into vertical ram or punch movement and is intended for mounting on a workbench or maintenance bench.

Overview

The AKAM bench-mounted manual lever press is intended for light- to medium-duty mechanical operations in workshops, tool rooms, and assembly areas. In the supplied image, the unit features a C-frame metal body, a bench-mounting base with fixing holes, a vertically guided ram assembly, a long manual operating lever, and several visible adjustment and locking screws around the head section. Operating the lever actuates the internal press mechanism and drives the vertical ram toward the workpiece. This arrangement enables controlled mechanical force without requiring electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic power. The visible holes in the lower working area can potentially accept fixtures, tooling, supports, or dedicated accessories; however, the exact accessory interface must be confirmed from the final design. The press can support assembly and disassembly work, pin and bushing insertion or removal, general pressing tasks, and—when fitted with appropriate tooling—certain light punching or forming operations. Rated pressing force, ram stroke, throat depth, tooling interface, and other performance specifications must be established only from AKAM TECHNIC's final engineering documentation.

Application

• Pressing and inserting small to medium-sized components • Installing or removing pins and bushings • Mechanical component assembly and disassembly • Use with dedicated fixtures and tooling • Light punching or forming when equipped with suitable tooling • Component maintenance and repair in workshops • Use in tool rooms, assembly lines, and MRO facilities • Pressing operations without electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic power
