Overview
The AKA-1000 is a heavy-duty hydraulic tripod jack intended for aircraft lifting and support during maintenance, inspection and servicing operations. With a nominal capacity of 85 t and an operating height range from 2520 mm to 4850 mm, the jack is suitable for the specified Wing/Body and Tail jacking applications. Aircraft jacking operations require both adequate lifting capacity and controlled mechanical support after the required height has been reached. The jack incorporates a manually operated hydraulic pump with separate high- and low-pressure pumps in a dual system. An air-hydraulic drive with a pneumatic pump and maintenance unit is also provided. A manually operated safety lock nut provides mechanical securing at the working height. The load gauge uses a dual PSI / TONS scale, allowing the operator to monitor the hydraulic pressure and corresponding load during operation. The ground plates can be height-adjusted by threaded spindles and hand wheels, while the swivel castors are also height-adjustable. A bubble level indicator assists with correct levelling and positioning of the jack before and during operation. The hydraulic lift cylinder incorporates honed and hard-chrome-plated cylinder and piston tubes. The jack is finished with Skydrol-resistant paint in RAL 1028 for use in the aircraft maintenance environment. A towbar is installed on one tripod leg, and an aluminium ladder with a working platform provides convenient access to the manually operated safety lock nut. The jack has a closed height of 2520 mm, a hydraulic lift of 1860 mm and a screw extension of 470 mm, providing an extended height of 4850 mm. At AKAM, we present this equipment for aircraft maintenance organizations requiring a high-capacity tripod jack with hydraulic lifting, mechanical locking and clearly defined Airbus and Boeing aircraft applications. The specified documentation includes an English-language operation and maintenance manual with an illustrated spare parts list, a factory proof-load certificate based on testing at 150% of nominal capacity, and a Certificate of Compliance (CoC).
Application
Wing/Body jacking in accordance with the specified operational requirements. Use at the tail position for the specified aircraft types. Supporting aircraft maintenance, inspection, and servicing activities that require lifting and stabilizing the aircraft at approved jacking points.
