Overview

Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 is a fully synthetic, high thermal stability lubricant for aviation gas turbine engines. Its polyol ester formulation is designed to resist oxidation, hydrolysis and deposit formation in demanding thermal environments. The product is classified as MIL-PRF-23699F HTS and SAE AS5780 HPC. Application

For approved turbofan, turboshaft, helicopter turbine, engine accessory and auxiliary power unit (APU) applications. The source names PW JT8D-200, Rolls-Royce Trent 700 and IAE V2500, plus PW1100G-JM for A320neo and PW1500G for C Series.
